In the morning, we learnt the different Viking runes, translated our names and even turned it into a piece of jewellery. After break time, we researched who our Viking Gods/Goddess' were then the battle commenced! Both clans were taught Viking battle sequences and one Macaw went against one Flamingo!

For the afternoon, we completed a research study answering the question "Why were Viking longships important?" To answer this we had artifacts, newspapers and books to help.

In good old tradition, we ended our day with a Viking feast then chanted down to the gate!

Y4 presented all of our values for Viking day and it was very successful, well done everyone!
