Year 2 were lucky enough to welcome in many of their parents and grandparents for a clay model making session. Year 2 have been busy learning about habitats in Science, and as part of their artwork, have been investigating sculpture and designing models of clay habitats. The children have also been learning some skills for working with clay and were able to teach the grown ups how to shape and join. It was absolutely brilliant to see such enthusiastic and creative atmospheres in the classrooms and the children were super in the way they managed the session.
